Introduction

The Tayo Adeyemi foundation is born out of the need to preserve the legacies of the Late Dr Tayo Adeyemi. The life and times of Dr Tayo epitomized selfless service, giving, sacrifice and excellence as demonstrated in his ministry all over the world. These impacts are well known and captured.

The tributes we have received from all over the world are a testimony affirming his personality, poise and passion – quite humbly in view of his short sojourn here.

As leader of New Wine Church and New wine International, within 20 years, he successfully initiated and implemented several social programmes touching lives across the globe including;

Provision of over Twenty Three Thousand (23,000) Christmas Hampers to support the homeless and low income families in the Borough of Greenwich over the past twelve (12) Christmases.
Establishment of John Wilson’s Food Bank, a dry food bank to support the less privileged and homeless
Children summer club
Financial Empowerment workshops
Distribution of free textbooks
Leadership Empowerment seminars in London, England, The Americas and Africa
Provision of Shoe boxes (with gifts) to orphans in Eastern Europe
Building of Housing Estate of 55 homes for Lepers in Shalom Nagar, India including clinic and Chapel
Agricultural empowerment (rearing of goats) for selected families in Tanzania
Provision of relief materials to victims of Tsunami in Asia and Earthquake in Haiti and Pakistan
Support and encouragement to AIDS village South Africa
Mission trips to Papua New Guinea, South Africa, India, Tanzania, Ghana and more.

These humanitarian initiatives are noble and laudable, being a source of encouragement to many.

The Tayo Adeyemi foundation is therefore established to advance this cause within a more robust structure focusing primarily on helping the needy anywhere across the world.

Scope of Outreach

Development work –

Direct intervention in poor communities deficient in quality Education by building classrooms and any other structures, stocking of libraries and such other projects that would foster the development of the child.

Increasing access to medical services in sub-urban/rural communities of the world.

Capacity Development –

Assisting Medical Research on Terminal diseases.

Training and Manpower development in perceived areas of need.

Agricultural Extension Services.

Advocacy.

Direct Intervention –

Scholarships – For brilliant but socially disadvantaged.

Disaster Relief – In situation of Natural disasters, Environmental Emergencies and Pandemic Emergencies.

Administration

Dr Tayo has office structures in regions of the world which helped deliver his outreach operations. From the Corporate headquarters at Gateway House, London England, operations shall be coordinated and delivered through her International offices in South Africa, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea and India. More offices would be opened in other regions of the world as need arises.

Volunteer:

The nature of our operations would require the support of a robust volunteer pedestal. As the need arises, we would be establishing a volunteer corps that would be readily available to provide staff support in regions of the world. The support corps would include people of both young and old ages as we help entrench a culture of service particularly in the younger generation.

Corporate Partnership for CSR

This includes major aid from corporate organizations either in the form of donation or deliberate intervention. This may involve shouldering the burden of a project as part of their corporate – social responsibility (CSR). Such projects are executed through the Tayo Adeyemi Foundation.

Expected Take – off time

This initiative takes off immediately and subsequently develops capacity to take on new challenges.
