Pastor Tayo you were a great man of God. I remember when we used to meet in West Greenwich house and how I had told you that you were going places and it was too great and how the Lord had said when you get to that high place to maintain your meekness and humility because it may get into your head and how we laughed about it. Little did I know your time was short on the earth. I cannot but remember our laughs and fights together. As my spiritual father you thought I was stubborn but I only had a mind of my own. I will miss you greatly and thoroughly. I know you are at peace now and in glory. However, your family down here will miss you and I pray your soul rests in peace.

This is very heavy and hard to deal with it. You have touched so many lives with your personality, ministry and word. I got attracted to the Issue of Wine Press back in Africa and when I got here years later, your ministry was as printed on the publication. But behold, too soon to say bye. The only consolation is that your life reflected the word you preached and that righteous are taken away before the day of evil. It is heavy, sad and hard to deal with. Rest on in the bosom of the Almighty! We love but God love you more!

I just heard the sad news of Pastor Tayo's passing on Sunday. As I write this the tears are streaming down my face as I think about his teachings that I listened to every evening on Premier Christian radio. He was motivational, inspirational and a Father figure to many. He wasn't just the pastor of New Wine Church, he was the peoples pastor. My thoughts are with Pastor Tayo's immediate family, the leadership team and members of New Wine Church at this time. May God's comfort and love surround you all.

The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart : and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. Isaiah 57:1
Adieu Pastor Tayo. Rest peacefully at the bosom of the Lord.

Heartbroken. words cannot express the sadness I feel but I thank God for the great life you led. A true man of God, A man of excellence. You taught us not to accept mediocrity in any aspect of life. You will be missed. I thank you for your obedience to God's call on your life because of that obedience, many have been set free to live a life of fullness in God. I remember when you taught the books of the bible from Genesis to revelation...wow! what an awesome time that was. The Grace and anointing of God on your life was so evident. May God almighty bring comfort to your wife Sis Joke, your three sons and all members of Newwine church we love you Pastor Tayo. You have done well sir, God's full fledged 5 star General.

He was a teacher of the word par excellence. Though I am not a member of his church, I would always stay glued to the television when he ministers on TV stations in Nigeria. His style of teaching really imparted me in words beyond description. The church has lost another General and teacher of he word. Rest in Peace Pastor Tayo. You will surely be missed by your teeming fans whose lives you imparted significantly with God's word. It is well...

I am truly saddened to learn of the passing of Dr Tayo Adeyemi who I, without a doubt consider to be a leader of excellence. He will be greatly missed and I know that the body of Christ will be better for the legacy of unique and rich leadership he has left behind. He was a man of insight and foresight and each time we met, it was always a memorable experience. He was refreshingly down to earth with a great sense of humour. We shared many times of fellowship and I will always remember him as a friend and brother. Our love and prayers go out to Lady J Adeyemi, the Adeyemi family and the New Wine Church.
