Just last week I was beaming with joy and pride when someone who works for a public authority spoke so well of the contribution New Wine has made to the community - thank God for Pastor Tayo Adeyemi's heart for the community and obedience to God. Dr Adeyemi was an amazing teacher of God's word and had an admirable commitment to excellence. It's a blessing and privilege to have enjoyed his ministry. I pray his immediate and extended worldwide family will have peace and be comforted.

Dr Tayo Adeyemi, how I wish you know the impact your message at the excellence in leadership 2009 in DayStar made in my life "making God famous" I won't forget your analogy of the echos of enternity. I believe you have gone to be with the Lord in the bliss of enternity... Rest in the bossom of the Lord, for you indeed made God famous, I hope to fully become what you taught me soon.

Pastor Tayo, though i have never seen your face or picture, but i knew from the sound of your voice that you were significant to this human race. I am a very big fan, because i listen to you every sunday on Citi Fm in Ghana, from 7:00am to 7:30am before going to my church. God bless you for the lives affected, and may your family never feel your absence, as God will fill the space. I will miss you sir...

Dr Tayo, you have fought a good fight, kept the faith & you have handed over the baton to us to run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. God whom you served will comfort your family left behind, the local church & the body of Christ worldwide that you affected positively with your TV outreach. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Shalom.......

My heart was extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Dr Tayo Adeyemi. The word of God says that when one part of the body hurts we all hurt. The Body of Christ Universal shares in the grief of Dr Tayo's family and the New Wine Church family. Our prayers are very much with you at this very sad time. We draw strength from the fact that we do not grieve like one without a hope. We are confident that our dear Pastor is resting safe in the arms of Jesus.
He will be deeply missed by the Body of Christ and the communities in which he served so faithfully over the past years.
May your soul rest in perfect peace in Jesus Name (Amen).

I'm an Anglican priest and I had the privilege of meeting Dr Tayo Adeyemi on a retreat he was speaking at for about a dozen evangelists in January 2007 run by the Philo Trust.
I was struck by this big hearted and humble servant of God who had the ability to minister powerfully in Word and Spirit in a way that transcended culture & denominational affiliation.
I was in what was perhaps the lowest period in my life and Dr Tayo gave a prophetic word that released a breakthrough to me and ministered healing to me in a way that was life changing. I think when people say an event is 'destiny defining' it is often hyperbole- but this truly was!
We later went for a walk around the grounds of Hartwell House and I remember his pastoral attentiveness as he listened to my story. He told me he nearly never gave the prophetic word-fearing it could never be relevant to a small group of evangelists-but felt urged by the Lord to do so.
I will never forget him as long as I live and am profoundly grateful to him for being open to the Holy Spirit and obedient to His voice.

It is a shame and a big blow that Pastor Tayo is gone. He was a great man of God with a powerful teaching message for mankind. May he rest in perfect peace with the Lord who he served well with diligence as we pray for comfort for the loved ones he has left behind.
