I was disheartened to hear of the passing of a great Man of God. I attended the New wine Church once on Sunday Jan 16th 2011 and I was truly blessed by his sermon which I haven't forgotten till this day. May his soul rest in perfect peace. Holy is the Lord God almighty and may the Lord appoint a successor to carry the torch and continue with the legacy he has left behind. Condolences to his family at this difficult time.

"He should have died hereafter

Heard no more?
No, not Tayo, no, not Adeyemi
His voice has rung in my house every Sunday morning for the past many many many years.
He read the Word and guided me step by step to a closer walk with Jesus.
He was erudite, forthright and incisive
I quoted him freely in my sermons as a local preacher of the Gospel in a Ghanaian congregation in the harbor city of Tema in Ghana.
The news of the passing away of Pastor Tayo, on the airwaves, Tuesday morning, hit me and left me dumbfounded and staggered.
My first reaction was, won’t I hear his voice again? And for several moments I panicked. Who, where, do I turn to for guidance?
Thanks to technology, Pastor Tayo will continue to speak to me for several more years.

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
But thanks be to God, (in the life of Pastor Tayo Adeyemi), which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
I pray for his wife, his children, his family of New Wine Church, that the Spirit Divine, may strengthen and guide them in this hour of deep, shared sorrow.

You have lived a life of purpose in this segment of eternity. Your life is easily summed up in the quality donation you have made. Many people's lives have become better because you said yes to God. Life is not defined by duration only but the quality donation of all that the creator has endowed you with. You had to make this compulsory appointment with God. Every man would keep his/her at some point signifying the end of a lifetime. You live on in eternity.We are grateful to God for a life well lived. Adieu Pastor Tayo Adeyemi.

Pastor, each time my family is London, they feel at home like they are in our church in Nigeria and I was looking forward to the day I will attend a service and get to meet you which is this month on our summer Holliday.
We never met but by touching the life of my family, I count it all joy to get to know and hear about you in my life time.

My family loves you, your simplicity and love for Christ has so many reward which can be seen in the members the Lord gave to you as their under shepherd.
We love you but what can we say; praise be to The Giver of life for fulfilling your destiny.

I was not privileged to meet Dr Tayo Adeyemi in person but I got positive reports about him and his ministry. A brother-in-Christ who attends New Wine broke the news to me and I felt so empty and devastated.
My heart goes out to Adeyemi Family and New Winers...

I will never forget the first Pentecostal church I joined in the UK when I first came here..New Wine Church, the doors to the former cinema now converted beautiful church was filled with people seeking God's presence, I felt home..Meeting the Pastor himself in Woolwich walking very humbly in the streets of London was even more humbling..But today I am struck by this sad news that DR. TAYO ADEYEMI is dead..Why Lord??? This man has left a huge ministry behind..May God comfort his family...Rest in Peace sir..

I lost 2 siblings within the space of 3months this year but the death of Dr.Tayo is the most shocking and painful news I have heard this year. I have been following the ministry of Dr Tayo for couple of years now and I must say that he was my spiritual mentor, teacher, preacher and a father in christ. As long as your materials remain you will still be my spiritual mentor sir ! The painful thing is that, I never had the opportunity to meet him in person or witness him minister live..something I determined to do before the end of this year. I don't even know what to say anymore my heart is really saddened but I know God knows the best. Dr Tayo Adeyemi, may God keep your soul until we meet someday. Damirifa Due!
